Wildflowers
There are many wildflowers in the UK and these play a vital role within the food chain as they provide insects with a vital habitat and a food source and of course these insects them become a part of the food chain for various other species of wildlife, I'm pleased to see that in today's farming industry there is now more land being allocated for wildlife as many fields have a headland dedicated for this purpose.
In this gallery I have included various wildflowers that are native to the UK, this has been a rather onerous task as I find it difficult to get down low to take these photographs. I hope you enjoy my efforts.
